Leadership | Forthcoming
Between
A practical, personal exploration of what it means to lead ourselves, other people and the organisations we build.
Drawing on 15 years of founding and growing Nourish, Between explores the often uncomfortable spaces of leadership: between conviction and uncertainty, responsibility and control, individual ambition and collective success.
Through stories, reflections and practical tools, Sarah examines how we make difficult choices, lead with humanity, share power and build things that can thrive beyond us.
Status: Manuscript completed; editorial work underway.
Wild Enough to Care

Memoir | Forthcoming
Wild Enough to Care
A memoir shaped by a childhood in the African bush, an unconventional life, and the unexpected journey of building something that became much bigger than its founder.
From growing up in the Timbavati to founding Nourish, Wild Enough to Care explores belonging, purpose, relationships, conservation, courage and the messy reality of finding your own way.
It's a personal story about caring deeply for people and places, and discovering what that asks of us.
Status: In editorial development.

Stories for children
Alongside my leadership writing and memoir, I have a real love for children's storytelling, particularly stories that help young readers connect with wildlife, conservation and the natural world.
Four books in my Chris the Crocodile series are already in print and available, while I'm currently illustrating three new elephant stories, which I hope to release in the coming months.
And then there are another 22 stories still percolating in my head! Together, they're part of a bigger vision for a 30-book Nourish educational series, using storytelling to help children fall in love with nature and understand why protecting it matters.
It's a wonderfully different side of my writing, and one that brings me a lot of joy.
